Recording of Brazilian folk guitar for songs and soundtracks
One of the specialties of vm.lab studio is musical production with the viola caipira, whether in a more traditional or modern style, in any tuning. In addition to recording, we create the appropriate arrangement so that the viola fits perfectly into your music.
Transcriptions of viola songs to sheet music and tablatures
If you are having difficulty learning a song on the viola and haven't found the correct sheet music or tablature, don't worry. We can help you. Contact us and request a quote for the song you need to learn, and we will transcribe it into sheet music and tablature.

Vinícius Muniz
Executive Director
Founder and main visionary, Vinícius is the driving force behind vm.lab studio. Composer, sound designer, cultural manager, and interpreter of viola caipira. But we could also mention: web programmer, colorist, and video editor, but these talents take a back seat if necessary. 😉
He has been working professionally for over 20 years. He holds a degree in musical composition from UNICAMP (Brazil) and a master's degree in music from the same university. He works as a musician and composer with the viola caipira, but his passion for cinema led him to pursue postgraduate studies in Music Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a specialization in Sound Post-Production with Pro Tools at CIFO (Centre de Formació i Ocupació de Catalunya), both in Barcelona, Spain.
Artist and restless creator, deeply connected to the technologies of the moment, but without leaving behind the cultural traditions of Brazil's roots. Perfectionist, seeks to apply the compositional concepts of contemporary music to all processes: organization and systematization.
